Altron marks completed turnaround with double-digit growth
JSE-listed technology company Allied Electronics on Thursday posted double-digit increases across the board for the year ended February 28, 2019. The technology company achieved a 30% increase in normalised revenue to R19.2-billion and a 24% increase in normalised earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation to R1.6-billion from its continuing operations.

Telecommunications giant MTN Group has met its medium-term revenue growth guidance, posting a 10% year-on-year increase to R33.2-billion, supported by a continued rise in voice, data and financial technology (fintech) revenue, during the three months to March 31, 2019. Nigeria's securities regulator has approved South African telecoms firm MTN's listing application for its $5-billion Nigerian unit.
