Brazil-based major aerospace group Embraer has reported that it delivered 57 civilian jets during the third quarter of this year (3Q24), which was a 33% increase, year-on-year (y-o-y). It also represented a 24% increase, quarter-on-quarter (q-o-q). It further delivered two military jets. The group also reported that its total backlog increased more than 25% y-o-y, and nearly 10% q-o-q, to reach $22.7-billion. This is the highest level that it has reached in nine years. The biggest increase in backlog was reported by Embraer Defence & Security, which recorded a rise of $1.5-billion, with Services & Support coming next, with an increase of $367-million. However, both Commercial Aviation and Executive Aviation reported slight decreases in the values of their order backlogs, by -$168-million and -$184-million, respectively.
