Bridgestone Southern Africa says that its Firestone FD833 and FS833 truck and bus radial tyres that were previously imported, are now fully manufactured at its plant in Brits, in the North West. This move is in line with the manufacturer’s strategy of localising some of its products for South African conditions, says Bridgestone Southern Africa technical manager Dries Venter.
